Finding Strength Within: A Journey to Becoming Kapable

Most people know me as a content creator, fitness influencer or someone who is always in the gym, but behind the scenes, I am also the founder of Kapable Activewear.

To understand why I started Kapable, I need to take you back a few years.

For a long time, I struggled with severe mental health challenges. My anxiety and depression became so overwhelming that they started affecting me physically. It wasn’t just something I felt emotionally—it impacted every area of my life. This battle went on for years, and at one point, I genuinely believed this was simply my portion in life. I had started to identify myself by my struggles. Instead of saying I was experiencing anxiety and depression, I began to believe that anxiety and depression defined me. I accepted those labels and thought that was all life would ever be for me.

Fitness became part of my healing journey. I started training in 2021, and while it helped my mental health tremendously, it didn’t completely heal the deeper issues I was facing.

In 2024, something shifted. I decided to fight back harder than ever before. I began changing the way I spoke about myself and the way I thought about my future. Instead of agreeing with the negative thoughts that had held me captive for years, I started intentionally speaking words of life, hope, strength, and purpose over myself. Words of affirmation became huge for me, as did my spiritual journey. In my lowest moments, I would say to myself, “I am capable. I am capable.”

I started saying it so often that it became second nature to me. Most of the time, I said it in my head—on my bedroom floor while crying through mental torment, in the gym while training, and while driving when I could feel myself becoming overwhelmed by life. I said it so often that it became something I truly believed.

I love the Kapable mindset, and I started Kapable for those who have experienced the same struggles. Kapable is more than the high quality activewear I design and supply. My desire is that each time someone purchases Kapable, they make the conscious decision to live the Kapable mindset—a mindset of resilience, of not giving up, and of not living by the labels.

Slowly, I stopped seeing myself as broken and began seeing myself as capable.

The word capable became incredibly significant to me.

Kapable was born from that transformation. It is a reminder of the journey from believing I was limited by my circumstances to believing that I am capable of growth, healing, and achieving things I once thought were impossible.

Today, every time someone wears Kapable, my hope is that they are reminded of the same truth that changed my life: you are capable of more than you think.

This is why “I am Kapable” is Kapable’s slogan, because we are Kapable. To shop Kapable visit www.kapablefitnessapparel.com
